Specimen Requirements

Submit only 1 of the following specimens: 
Plasma
Draw blood in a green top (lithium heparin) tube prior to subsequent dose. Spin down and send 1 mL of lithium heparin plasma refrigerated.
Note: 

• Date and time of last dose is required on request form for processing.
• Indicate plasma on request form.
• Label specimen appropriately (plasma).
   
  Serum
  Draw blood in a plain, red top tube or Gold SST tube prior to subsequent dose. Spin down and send 1 mL of serum refrigerated.

Note:

• Date and time of last dose is required on request form for processing.
• Indicate serum on request form.
• Label specimen appropriately (serum).
