Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s), and send 3 mL of EDTA whole blood refrigerated.

Note:  Specimen may be stored refrigerated up to 56 hours. However, storage >24 hours may result in falsely elevated hematocrit results.
