Specimen Requirements

10 mL from a 24-hour urine collection in a metal-free, plastic, screw-capped urine container supplied. Urine should be acidified after collection to a pH of 1.0 with 6N HCl. Mix well before taking 10-mL aliquot. Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.
Note:  24-Hour volume is required on request form for processing.
