Specimen Requirements
Specimen must be examined within 1 hour of collection.
Call Conway Regional Medical Center laboratory at 501-513-5752 for special collection instructions and request form. Failure to collect specimen as instructed may render results invalid.
Collect entire ejaculate into a clean glass or plastic container. (Specimen collected in a condom is not acceptable.) Protect specimen from extreme heat and cold.
Note: 1. Patient should have 2 to 3 days of sexual abstinence at time of semen collection for accurate results.
2. Collection date and time are required on request form for processing.
