Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) or a serum gel tube(s). Spin down and send 1 mL of serum refrigerated.

Note:  The following specimens will not be tested:

1. Grossly hemolyzed specimen

2. Heat-treated specimen

3. Lipemic specimen

4. Obvious microbial contamination
